How can I describe this genuine log LED lamp without it sounding too good to be true? Much as I love the unique design and its striking lightning flashes, I have mentally prepared myself for its sale. I can’t keep every lamp or light fitting I create – if only I could! – but the Leo LED lamp burnt a place in my heart from the very beginning.

This solid wood log was due for the wood burner; but as soon as I lifted it from the wood pile I stopped. As I turned the wood around in my hands, I could see that the smooth bark was complete – no splits, cracks or damage to the wood. I hurried into my workshop, forgetting my original purpose of stoking the fire. Ideas and designs were already tumbling around in my head. At the same time, I was carefully turning the log over and over in my hands. I was excited about my find but also scared I might drop it!

Most of my designs are made to order – reproduced on request – as close to the original design as possible. Because each light is hand crafted from real wood, they are always slightly different. The Leo lamp has bright LEDs through the centre that magically illuminate the wood from deep within. And the light gently weeps from each carefully measured incision cut into the log. Each slit, slightly burnt around the edges, appears laser-like or as if made by a glance from a lightsabre.

Whilst this particular log lamp design doesn’t give off a massive amount of light, it glows warmly and pleasantly enough to make an unusual feature. Like a piece of art that shines from within, I guarantee that the Leo log lamp will capture the hearts of everyone that sees it. It’s definitely captured mine.
