The slender Cygnus lamp combines two of my most favourite materials – warm copper and reclaimed wood. With beautiful natural components like these I hardly had to do anything to design this lamp. It simply created itself, moulding into a smooth, sinuous shape before my very eyes. 

An elegant and practical lamp made from two matching blocks of wood, cut from the same piece of old reclaimed oak, separated by a sleek curved copper rod. With its glorious combination of reddish-gold metal and warm, timeworn oak you will be naturally drawn to this incredible lamp. The copper slides its slender arm towards the sky, as if it’s reaching out to touch the frosted glass globe. But the strong, venerable oak keeps it firmly in its place; its ancient root planted firmly on the ground. 

 

Wherever you position the alluring Cygnus copper and oak lamp in your home or office, it will demand pride of place.

• Power Supply : Electric. Plug-in power lead included – The lamp works directly off mains power and will be supplied ready fitted with a European or UK plug, depending on the shipping destination. It will work perfectly in other countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia etc, but a suitable plug will need to be fitted to the end of the cable. These plugs are readily available in all good electrical or hardware stores.
