Andromeda Aluminium & Pine Angled Lamp – table, desk, bedside lamp

When I found a discarded piece of aluminium I knew I had to create something sleek and stylish with it. Several sketches and ideas were discarded until I picked up the straight, slender piece of aluminium in my hand. Like a child playing with a sword, I swung it from side to side, slashing the air and an invisible enemy. I was Perseus, slaying the sea monster with a diamond sword to save the beautiful Andromeda. 

So now I had my inspiration and a name for my design – Andromeda. The aluminium was my sword and the LED lights were my diamonds. Finally I designed a simple, slim pine wood base – the solid rock that had securely held Andromeda. 

Et voila.. a shiny, sleek, slimline lamp as beautiful and bright as Andromeda. This elegant table, desk or bedside lamp is one of a kind. Ultra light, slender and minimalist, Andromeda’s diamond-white LEDs are neatly hidden inside the smooth aluminium shaft. Not only is it desirable, but Andromeda is also touchable, efficient and functional. What more could you want from an illuminating piece of art?
