I get a lot of comments about this particular wooden cube lamp such as what is it? how is it made? how is that even possible? and many more! It’s safe to say that this Draco molecular lamp raises a lot of questions and eyebrows. and whilst i can’t tell you exactly how it’s made, i can tell you that it is indeed a lamp, a very cool and unusual lamp made entirely from wood.

I just love the design of this unusual cube lamp, it definitely reminds of a molecule or molecular structure of something, but maybe also a Rubik’s cube too?

 

Each piece of wood is precisely cut and aligned so that the natural grain pattern lines up perfectly across the pieces.

The lamp is made from solid wood, even all the connecting pieces between the cubes. The wood has then been carefully burnt to add definition and contrast to the wood, and finally the lamp has been varnished to give even more depth and keep the wood looking great for years to come.

The lamp uses a G9 type LED bulb which are widely available worldwide, but please ONLY USE LED versions.
