Lacerta Frosted Glass Globe Lamp – desk, table, bedside light

I picked up the branch that would eventually become the Lacerta Glass Globe lamp and closed my eyes. Slowly and carefully I turned the wood around in my hands, feeling the ripples and roughness of the bark. Then I remembered a quote I has seen recently. “It’s the imperfections that make something beautiful, that’s what makes it different and unique from everything else.”

Immediately I opened my eyes and saw the beauty and uniqueness in the piece of wood I was holding. I didn’t want to risk losing any of that glorious bark. So it had to be a lamp that was simple and natural, with a subtle glow to enhance it’s surroundings.

 

That’s how the Lacerta lamp was born. A smooth, simple globe of frosted glass sits securely on the top of the lamp, concealing a small LED bulb. Although it gives off a great amount of light, the glare is beautifully dispersed by the frosted glass. The uncomplicated design of the Lacerta means this discrete lamp blends perfectly with any style of room. However, as soon as you flick the switch you will be dazzled by its simple, rustic and elegant design.

• Power Supply : Electric. Plug-in power lead included – lamp is supplied with either a European or UK type plug ready installed. However if you require a different type, for example for the USA, then you simply fit a standard plug to the end of the cable. (As you would with any other lamp or appliance). These plugs are readily available in all good electrical or hardware stores.
• Options : Available with inline on/off switch and approximately 1.2 m of black cable (other colours available on request).
