The process for creating this solid wood LED lamp was slightly unusual. More often than not, I have a pretty good idea in my head about how a product is going to turn out. But in the case of the Libra LED lamp it just didn’t happen in the usual way. I selected some beautiful, smooth tactile pieces of Niangon wood. Then I cut, I glued, I re-cut – this was not going to plan. So I re-glued, sanded, stood back, and changed my mind again! I repeated this process several times because there was always something not quite right. It was almost as if the solid wood lamp was trying to create itself. Finally, it came together! And, as if it was a new-born baby, I instantly fell in love with it. The Libra is a very special piece of illuminating art – it’s breathtakingly beautiful, wondrous and absolutely adorable – I have never seen or created anything like it before. 

The Libra is made from solid, exotic Niangon hardwood and has a slender strip of integrated LEDs hidden inside it’s curvaceous circular form. The thin LED strip is incredibly difficult to see, even when you are looking straight at the lamp, yet they give out the most amazing bright light. Their other beauty is that they will last you a lifetime and should never need replacing. This modern style, solid wood LED lamp is a unique design. This is my Luxsabre Libra baby and I dare you to try and find the same lamp anywhere else!
